Westend Community Champions

Our children are the heartbeat of the community

“Westend Community Champions” are a group of young players age 8-16yrs old who willingly volunteer their time, energy, commitment and skills to a number of club activities and charitable/social actions across the local community.

Supported by club management and parents, our young volunteers are the bedrock of Westend, the local community and in deed wider society. Their selflessness, compassion, acts of kindness and dedication is helping make a positive difference to the lives of others.

We’re so proud of their charitable aims and actions. During Lockdown 2 and Lockdown 3 Westend youngsters supported the most vulnerable families and children across Huddersfield communities affected by Covid-19.The impact of their actions is simply staggering!!!
